Hill & Harbor offers a comprehensive Design-Build method that ensures a collaborative working relationship between us and our clients. The third component of our four-part process is the Design Development Phase, which breaks down into the following three layers.
Permit Drawings
In this stage, we begin drafting and, upon completion, submitting all permit drawings in order to get all the necessary building permits on the town and state level. With our knowledge of zoning laws and experience in Rhode Island, we make what can be a stressful task, as seamless as possible. Our clients are so thankful for this concierge service, as time can be saved by ensuring that the drawings that are submitted are approved with no changes.
Schedule
We place great emphasis on respecting our clients’ time, and our aim is to adhere to the established timeline as closely as possible. In the event of any unforeseen delays, we make it a priority to communicate such information promptly. Our commitment to transparency ensures that our clients are informed about any changes and can adjust their expectations accordingly.
By incorporating scheduling from the initial design phase, and maintaining open communication throughout the construction process, we strive to provide an efficient and organized experience for our clients.
Suggested Savings
We go over all building material and construction costs with an eye to always being at or under budget. At this stage, we can also take a look at some items that our client vetoed from their Wish List and see if we can add them to the project with any savings we might find.
