Home Trends You Might Want To Incorporate

As part of our commitment to delivering the best design ideas and completed projects to our clients, we keep abreast of new trends and news about what improvements people are making in their homes. Trends for 2023 seem to be a continuation of those we have seen in the last couple of years. Families want to make their homes comfortable, beautiful, and set up for practical daily living.T ake a look at these trends that we only see getting more popular in 2023!

1. Bathroom & Kitchen Upgrades

These high-use areas of the home need to be practical and functional. They have always been areas where people seek to improve. In 2023, we expect to see an increase in focus on these areas. For bathrooms, those wanting a bespoke feel are seeking spa like retreats for their Primary Bathroom where relaxing and unwinding are the goal.

In kitchens, monochrome is dead. Elevated earth tones and moody (or what we like to call Swanky!) colors, textures, and materials add beauty and interest. These touches are what its all about when updating kitchens.
2. Outdoor Living Spaces
Along with the pandemic creating more work from home opportunities, homeowners are interested in having as much livable space as they can and are frequently adding or renovating porches, outdoor kitchens, and other outdoor entertaining area. Everyone wants to make the most of our Spring, Summer, and Fall weather and enjoy the outdoors.
3. Home Offices
The pandemic changed how people worked and with more people continuing to work from home, a dedicated office or work space is what many of our clients are looking for. When thinking about this addition or modification, consider natural light and location in the home to minimize distractions.
